some favorites from 2013

 We have had a really fun year! Here's the proof in some of my favorite photographs that I took:

conference weekend

 We had a fantastic conference weekend! 

We had fun spending time together and with family listening to the prophets.

 

 On Saturday we stayed home and enjoyed the words shared while doing some pretty serious cleaning.

(We showed our apartment to some potential renters that night)

After conference, I was lucky enough to go to a bridal shower for 

my sweet soon-to-be sister Steinia.

It was great to see family and have a night out without the babe.

Piper stayed home with a little cold.

 

On Sunday, we headed up to Salt Lake and spent the day with our family up there.

 

While we were there, the power went out! 

We were lucky that Trevor has good speakers on his phone, because we were still able to listen.

 

 Piper was such a good little girl during our busy weekend!

She really is the kindest little thing and we are so grateful to have her in our lives.

14 months

Little blue eyes is 14 months today!

Can't believe it! 

I've been thinking a lot about the last year of my life with Piper.

It has definitely been harder than I expected, but I've loved it!

Especially the last few months.

It is so fun to have a walking, talking, playing little person around the house!

She is wild sometimes, and church is the worst (why do they all save their worst behavior for church? haha) 

but she is the greatest little girl ever! 

I love all the words she can say now. The list is growing everyday!

around our house lately

We've been having a super fun September! 

Hope you all are too.

We are enjoying the cooler weather, but mostly I just like not having the swamp cooler on.

Its the best!

 Last week, we spent the evening with some family at Lagoon!

We were so lucky that the rain stopped just before we arrived.

And Piper was awesome! She went on a few rides and loved looking at everything!

We stayed until pretty late and she was great. 

This is her new face. 

Its HILARIOUS and she always cracks up after she does it.

I'm so happy we caught it on film finally!

This was scary for me to watch, but she LOVED it!

 

 HAHA 

 She loved the merry-go-round

but only when it was moving :)

She growled the whole time that I was on it with her!

We went on it a couple times.

Alex and Steinia are getting married in a few weeks and we are so excited!

We love not having to wait for rides!
