Accidents

Believe it or not, this post is not about an accident with Trevor or I! We are luckily (mostly) unhurt these days!! Aren't you proud? Haha

Well, on Saturday we got a call from Trevor's Mom saying that his little brother Alex had been in a mountain biking accident that morning and was in the hospital about to be wheeled to the OR. Naturally, we flipped out. We rushed to the hospital to see him before they took him to the OR and wished him luck. He had dislocated his hip. (Thankfully it wasn't broken!!!) It was a unique dislocation though. It was forward. Typically hip dislocations are either to the side or the back. Having a dislocation go forward is a little unheard of. In fact, his doctor said that he had never seen one like that before. But they put him out and popped his leg back in and in just a few hours he was okay.

They kept him in the Hospital overnight, but released him the next morning. It was a little scary and made for a crazy weekend for everyone in the Lewis family, but everything is okay. Alex's parents are just trying to decide what to do with him about school. Its a little complicated.

We're mostly just glad that he's alright.

And now we're trapped in the middle of another long, busy week of school and work. And we still don't have a window.
