trevor's birthday crazies

Trevor's birthday turned into quite the adventure yesterday.

We ended up at the Emergency Room.

Here's the short version of the story. 

Over a week ago, Trevor started having this funky pain in his foot.

He hadn't hurt it, that he could remember, and we didn't think much of it.

But, then it started getting worse.

On Thursday Trevor went to the Doctor. His x-ray was 100% normal and they couldn't find any other problems. 

They referred him to a specialist. 

The earliest he could get an appointment is the 29th (a week from today).

Over the weekend, it got to the point where he was barely able to stand in the shower, let alone walk.

Yesterday afternoon, he was in so much pain he decided it was probably time for some stronger meds and another trip to see a doctor.

So, we went to the emergency room. 

about 2 1/2 hours later we were leaving with some stronger pain meds and a strong anti-inflammatory.

We also got him a cane so he can get around easier. 

He looks like Dr. House and is starting to drive me crazy because he's constantly playing with it haha

Don't worry too much! 

He still had a great birthday! 

We mostly celebrated on Sunday because we weren't sure what the rest of our week would be like.

We were still able to get him some seafood and ice cream. 

I'd say it was a pretty interesting day!

We still have no clue what is wrong with his foot. The doctors have ruled out a few things it could be.

He will see a podiatrist next week and hopefully we can get this figured out quickly! 

Poor guy! 

Good thing he will still be able to taste his Thanksgiving dinner!!
