OBX 2016 part 3

Well, here's the last of the beach photos. 

A few family pictures from our last night on the Outer Banks. 

I sure love my people and I'm really lucky to have them in my life! 

Now, if only we can get these girls to adjust back to Utah time.

Piper has woken me up at 4:30 every single morning since we got back. 

I guess its only been 3 mornings, but it feels like a lifetime on very little sleep.

And poor Hayley has been pretty sick and teething. 

Basically, we're doing awesome around here. haha

Now we're gearing up for Carly's wedding on Thursday! 

Its going to be such a wonderful day and we are so thrilled for her and Chance. 

I got to do flowers for their formals and I took a few shots of my own. 

I'll share them after the wedding, but I gotta show you this bouquet! 

I haven't made one in a long, long time, so I am pretty proud of how it turned out. 

And I remembered how much fun it is to put flowers together. 

I added ribbon to the girls dresses tonight and am finishing up the 

little photo slideshow for Carly and Chance tonight, 

making a batch of cookies tomorrow, 

getting Trevor a shirt, and praying the dress I ordered shows up

and fits. haha

Its total chaos, but so fun! 

OBX part 2

Of we go! 

We waited SO long for this trip to the beach.

Piper was beyond ready to go when the day finally came around. 

After we landed, we stayed in a hotel in Raleigh.

The next morning we got up and headed on our drive out to the Outer Banks. 

It took us about 4 1/2 hours to get there, lots longer than I anticipated,

but, its okay! 

Just the usual potty stops and things. haha 

And now the beach finally!!! 

We went to two lighthouses while we were there. 

Bodie Island and Hatteras! 

These pictures are from Bodie Island.

2 years ago, on our last trip out, 

I got some SUPER cute pictures of Piper, 

but this time it was hot and she was tired and the picture above was 

the only decent one I got.

But I kinda love it!

Little cousins are the BEST

Trevor made me into a mermaid!

And these next ones are from Hatteras! 

Its the tallest lighthouse in the United States and is really cool to see!

It was also moved about 20 years ago more inland. 

Its pretty cool to see the pictures of them rolling the lighthouse!

Piper really didn't want to take a picture,

so I told her she didn't have to look, but just stand there.

haha

We had such a great time!

I honestly don't know why we even came home! haha

Piper and Hayley really enjoyed it!

I think Hayley had the most fun out of everyone!

She was the happiest on the beach!

I have one more round of pictures coming, 

and they are pretty cute!

We had the most wonderful time! 

It was so nice to be in the sun and on the beach, 

but I mostly love being with everyone. 

We have such a wonderful family! 

I'm so lucky!

OBX 2016

We just got back from the most incredible week on the outer banks.

We stayed in Salvo, NC - the most perfect little beach town. 

I have SO many pictures that I want to share, so I'm going to break this into a few 

different posts. 

This one is mostly the beach where we stay. 

Its so beautiful!

And there is the coolest ship-wreck in the water right on the beach.

See! That's the ship-wreck!

That was a little fence around a sea turtle nest. 

There were a couple spots like this on the beach.

I was REALLY hoping they would hatch while we were there, 

but sadly that didn't happen.

Piper woke up really early one morning, 

so she and I headed out on a little walk on the perfectly empty beach. 

It had just rained, so the sky was incredible!

I love this beach SO much! 

And I'm really going to miss it! 

We've been coming to this beach since Trevor and I got married 6 years ago. 

(We missed one visit because that's when Piper was born.) 

Look forward to some more posts over the next few days! 

Our girls absolutely LOVED the beach and I can't wait to share some more!

 Well, we're back from our trip to paradise!

We had the greatest time with all the family and relaxing.

The Outer Banks are seriously the best!

It was really hard to leave yesterday.
