Father's Day - 2017 (and more)

We had such a fun day celebrating our guy! 

We are all really blessed to have him in our family! 

He makes everything more fun and the girls just ADORE him!

And in other GREAT news,

Trevor got a job!!! 

Its not the dream job or anything, but its going to be great! 

He is working for Myler Disability and started this morning. 

I'm so excited for him and so ready to move on to a new chapter. 

But a little nervous to be home alone with my buddies again. 

I got used to running errands alone. haha

We were able to go to the Orem Summerfest Carnival a few weeks ago. 

Soooo many pictures, but this was the only cute one: 

She's such a doll! 

That's about it from us. 

We are really excited about Trevor's new job and going to be settling into 

a new normal.

Piper's last day of preschool!

Today was Piper's last day of preschool.

I can't believe how big she is getting! 

And so sweet and so grown up!

Hayley had to jump in too!

We've had such a great 2 years at Miss Bekah's preschool! 

I'm SO sad its over! 

She learned a ton and made some great little friends!

My little girl isn't so little anymore.

She's almost 5 and we are working on her Kindergarten registration. 

She's a cutie and we love having her in our family!

Spring in Provo

We are really enjoying this sunshine and warmer weather. 

So many walks and beautiful days! 

Piper said, "I call this tree Marvel because its so marvelous!" 

She's so fun to be around! 

I love my girls!

I love lilacs and pretty spring blossoms!

In other news, we are moving in about 2 weeks. 

Its crazy and was a bit unexpected, but we are looking forward 

to a change and a new home. 

We will miss all our friends here in Oak Hills, but we won't be too far away. 

Packing with 2 kids sure is busy, but we are making it work. 

Hayley really loves to help :)

She's in nursery with Hayley and is so sweet! 

We adore her!

Piper... the selfie queen

Piper sure loves her selfies! 

I found about 50 of these on my phone just from yesterday. 

I sure love her little face!

And I love that they are all just a TINY bit out of focus.

haha

She's the cutest!

spring....ITS COMING

And we are SO excited!

We hit up the park the other day when it was warm. 

Both girls went wild.

It was like they'd never been outside before! 

They made some friends, went down some slides, and ran around like it was their job!

Winter isn't over, but it sure made me excited for the warmer months.

We sure love playing outside and I'm ready for some of the mess to leave the house.

And no more arguments over wearing coats. 

Winter is hard.

Hayley: 18 months

Little Hayley is 18 months old. 

She is such a fun little toddler, even when she's cranky.

She's learning SO much every day! 

She understands tons and is trying more and more to copy words. 

She says:

She nods her head to say Yes and finds her own ways to communicate

like bringing me plates or cups when she's hungry or thirsty.

Hayley has 6 little teeth with 2 molars working their way in. 

She loves to be chased and tickled. 

She's enjoying books more and more.

She and Piper are pretty hot and cold, but when they get along 

its AMAZING!

Hayley knows lots of animal sounds and loves animals! 

She's almost always carrying around a stuffed animal, 

and she LOVES seeing them in person or on TV.

She's been sick the last few days.

Thankfully she's on the mend. 

But she was SUPER cuddly for a few days, 

and I kinda ate it up! 

I do love happy, busy, playful buddies though. 

Happy 18 months baby girl! 

I wish we could slow down time, 

but I'm so happy to be your mom and love you so much!

I'm excited for you to start nursery and all the other new fun things 

in your future!

life lately: end of September

We've had a fun few weeks!

Piper is loving preschool and we are enjoying this fall weather.

Hayley is our resident cereal thief. 

She helps herself to cereal in the cupboard pretty often. 

She just carries it around the house pulling out handfuls and dropping 

half of them. haha

We really enjoyed conference this past weekend.

I didn't hear much (kids...) but I always enjoy setting aside the time to 

rest and listen to our church leaders. 

I am looking forward to when the printed talks are available.

And I've been re-listening to a few of them on my own.

I enjoyed so many of the talks!

Entertaining kids for a few hours with quiet activities sure is tricky.

But we colored, painted, and did some other crafts. 

And snacks. Lots and lots of snacks!

Piper and I are starting on a new little adventure this month. 

We are trying to do a craft a day until halloween. 

Due to scheduling, we've already missed a few days.

But be on the look-out for some of our pinterest-inspired crafts.

Hopefully she continues to have fun!

Sunday Sunday

Sundays aren't my most favorite days. 

Church with a 1 year old is really tough sometimes

and then trying to entertain my kids the rest of the day really wears me out.

I try to keep things Christ centered, but sometimes I can barely get through the day.

I'm not exactly sure why. 

Maybe I'm extra tired, but I'm such a grump on Sundays. 

And this week was no different. 

I was just a bit grouchy most of the day.

Until we got outside on a walk. 

It was such a gorgeous day! 

Chilly in the morning and nice and warm later. 

Piper loves to be out on her bike and is so fun to be around!

Hayley enjoys being outside, especially with the chance of seeing puppies!

They are fun little buddies sometimes. 

Usually Piper is doing something that upsets Hayley, 

but every once and a while they get along and its magical! 

I'm going to keep working hard on being a happy mom on Sunday!

Maybe I just need to go to bed earlier :)

Piper- back to preschool

We are so excited that preschool has started again. 

She loves the social time and Hayley and I are enjoying some one-on-one time! 

Piper is such a great friend and she has so much fun energy! 

I love being her mom!
