Piper's first zoo visit

We finally got around to the zoo this weekend!

We've been trying to go for a little while and kept having to change our plans.

Trevor, Piper and I headed up Saturday just after I finished teaching some violin lessons

and spent the afternoon seeing all the animals.

It was a ton of fun!

We weren't sure how interested Piper would be, 

but she loved every second of it!

Since it was so busy, Piper missed her nap. 

We were worried she'd get grumpy and uninterested, 

but she really was an absolute blast.

Trevor and I really enjoyed it too!

It wasn't too crowded, considering that it was a Saturday,

and it ended up being a pretty cloudy afternoon.

Lucky us!

While we were waiting for the elephant show,
she kept leaning back upside down and laughing her head off!
So so so funny!

 

Piper LOVED the otters.

She just kept saying "oh goodness!" and "I love it" while she was watching them.

It was adorable!

 

We had a great time!
