I just have to share a few Piper stories before I forget them.
We were out for a drive one night, and decided to grab a swig.
Piper likes me to roll down her window so she can order her own drink.
Yes. 3 going on about 16. :)
So, I rolled down her window and she says,
"I'm Piper and can I have a 16 ounce lemo-wade please."
The kid taking our order died laughing.
So, naturally, Piper kept talking.
He asked her how old she was and she said, "3. I'm a big girl and 3 whole years old.
"and my full name is Piper Elizabeth Lewis."
She just kept on chatting with the guy.
I'm sure the people waiting behind us were not thrilled with how long
we spent at the order window.
We still have daily conversations about getting married.
Every time we drive past the temple she tells me,
"That's where I'm going to marry my special boy.
Like you married daddy.
I can't marry daddy because he married you.
I'm going to marry a boy named Andy,
I just haven't met him yet."
I REALLY hope she does marry someone named Andy.
That would be hilarious!
A few nights ago, we had a little neighborhood get-together dinner.
Trevor was working, so I went with the girls.
Piper was hilarious.
She waltzed right in like she owned the place
and proudly announced to everyone,
"Look! My mom isn't pregnant anymore!
Hayley is out of her tummy!"
hahaha
She's a nut!
And just last night, I was up feeding Hayley
and heard Piper talking, pretty loud in her room.
I went to see what she was doing and asked who she was talking to,
She pointed to the other side of her room and looked at me like I was
crazy and said, "Them."
haha
She has a great little imagination!
I love her little sense of humor too.
She finds the silliest things hilarious and I love it!
She can really push my buttons and drive me a little crazy, but I'm so lucky to be her mom!
This girl is meant to be on a stage somehow!
Check out this video!
I think this was the 3rd or 4th time she made us applaud for her entrance.
Here are some things our little girl has said lately.
She always says, "This is awesome" or "this is the best ever!"
when she is having fun.
My cousin, Alec, was in the hospital again a few weeks ago
(He just got a new liver, and is doing well!)
and when I told Piper about it she asked,
"Is he getting another new leg?"
So close. haha
Sometimes when we are driving in the car,
I quiz her on her animal sounds, or songs or things.
Once, I was asking her about family names.
She keeps everyone in pairs, like "mommy and daddy" and "brianna and rob", etc.
So, I asked her who went with Tori and she said, "Sophie."
That's Tori's dog. haha!
Since Carly has been on her mission,
we have had a handful of conversations about missions.
Piper always tells me that she "wants to go on a mission like Carly."
And everytime we drive by the MTC, which is almost every day,
she talks about the missionaries.
Its pretty cute!
I've actually been thinking about trying to have the missionaries in our stake over
for dinner sometime.
Piper would probably love it!
