Weekend Fun!

We have had a really fun few weeks! 

We took the girls to see Cars 3! 

It was so fun and both of them were SO good!

Except for Piper spilling the entire tub of popcorn the minute we set down. 

haha

Madeleine came down for Sunday dinner!

We had a blast after dinner playing some tennis!

Its been ages since I've played, so it was really fun.

Piper enjoyed it and Hayley was wild! haha

Hayley kicks us out of our bed almost every morning. 

Little stinker. 

Trevor and I got to go to the first BYU football game of the season. 

(THANKS GRANDMA!) 

We had a blast! 

It was crazy hot and I'm pretty sure I got some heat exhaustion.

I felt crummy for a few days after. 

But we had so much fun! 

We've never been to a game together, 

and we enjoyed the date! 

Kindergarten

And she's off to Kindergarten! 

I can't believe it!

We are so excited for this new stage of life! 

Piper loves school and is so excited to make some new friends. 

And I'm super excited too!

We timed Kindergarten around Hayley's nap, 

which is perfect for me! 

I'll get some alone time to get some work done and maybe even my own nap :)

I can't wait to hear all about her first day!

Hayley: 2 years old

Our baby is 2! 

How did that even happen!

She's so fun and full of personality!

She loves dogs and birds so much. 

She is super into cars too!

She knows her colors pretty well, 

and is learning so much every day. 

She says lots of words and I love listening to her cute little voice. 

It really feels like she loves everyone and everything. 

She is so full of joy and love!

I am sure I'm going to love watching this for many years!

I really do wish everyone could get to know her. 

She is so enthusiastic and full of joy.

Summer Baby!

Hayley is LOVING summer! 

Piper isn't a fan of the heat, but nothing seems to phase this girl.

Except for when I can't seem to understand what she's asking for. haha

I got a sitter to help me out during violin lessons finally!

It has been so much easier and the girls adore her! 

And then I'm not super frustrated after I'm finished teaching and

am usually still up for an adventure or little outing. 

Hooray!

And these gorgeous flowers sure brightened up my day! 

Piper said, "Mom, those flowers are simply divine!" 

and I couldn't agree more. 

little sickies

Both girls got hit hard with the stomach flu last weekend. 

It was rough. 

And sadly made worse by the dumb parents who wanted to 

take a drive up the canyon and made them both car sick. 

Oops!

But aren't they so cute when they are snoozing!

Piper will only take a nap in my bed, 

and Hayley is usually the LIGHTEST sleeper, so I never catch her 

asleep, ever! 

So as crummy as it was, it was sweet to see these little angels. 

And their eyelashes! 

Can you believe the lashes on these girls!?! 

Life has really been insane lately.

I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. 

It has been ALL over the place.

Hayley and Mommy

This girl is my partner in crime and its so fun! 

She is so silly and fun and goofy and we all just love it. 

She speaks her own language. I just wish I could understand it. 

She is so chatty and friendly and sweet!

Piper is all big and grown up and doesn't like to take selfies with me anymore. 

Stinker. 

Hayley is still into it though. haha

I really love my girls so much!

And I love watching them grow up. 

I wish it didn't happen so fast, but it is super fun!

Hayley: 18 months

Little Hayley is 18 months old. 

She is such a fun little toddler, even when she's cranky.

She's learning SO much every day! 

She understands tons and is trying more and more to copy words. 

She says:

She nods her head to say Yes and finds her own ways to communicate

like bringing me plates or cups when she's hungry or thirsty.

Hayley has 6 little teeth with 2 molars working their way in. 

She loves to be chased and tickled. 

She's enjoying books more and more.

She and Piper are pretty hot and cold, but when they get along 

its AMAZING!

Hayley knows lots of animal sounds and loves animals! 

She's almost always carrying around a stuffed animal, 

and she LOVES seeing them in person or on TV.

She's been sick the last few days.

Thankfully she's on the mend. 

But she was SUPER cuddly for a few days, 

and I kinda ate it up! 

I do love happy, busy, playful buddies though. 

Happy 18 months baby girl! 

I wish we could slow down time, 

but I'm so happy to be your mom and love you so much!

I'm excited for you to start nursery and all the other new fun things 

in your future!

Hayley lately

This girl! 

She is too much! 

She is spunky and opinionated like her sister,

but she is also extra loving. 

She LOVES animals and baby dolls. 

She is getting pickier about food,

but its getting better since we got her a new seat.

She was really hating her high chair.

She doesn't say much.

But what she does say is adorable!

She says:

And she knows so many animal sounds!

She also knows where her nose, eyes, ears, and tongue are. 

She is such a fun little girl! 

We went through a phase where she was pretty frustrated, 

but she's doing better and is starting to communicate more. 

She doesn't talk much, but she is figuring our her own way. 

Like bringing us dishes when she's hungry or knocking on the fridge 

when she wants a bottle. 

She and Piper are starting to play more and it is my most favorite thing in the 

entire world.

I love watching these girls grow up together!

Even if things are a little nuts. haha

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy New Year from our family! 

We are looking forward to a new fun-filled year!

Even if it doesn't seem like Hayley isn't into it. haha

2016 was such a fun year! 

Any year that includes some beach time is the BEST.

I'm setting some goals for myself and our family,

but I'm trying not to get too crazy! 

Life sure is nuts for us these days and doesn't appear to be calming down any time soon. 

But we love it! I just trying not to add too much extra pressure on myself. 

But we are having fun and enjoying life!

life lately: november 2016

 

We've been enjoying the fall weather lately.

Its been so nice out!

We're supposed to get snow later in the week, and I'm not looking forward to it.

 

This Hayley of ours is just too fun!

She's also a grouch sometimes, but that's OK.

She just wants what she wants. haha

 

And we are back into our crafts again.

We used q-tips to make indian corn. 

Piper loved this one! It was SUPER easy!

And hopefully I will get my act together and we will do some more fun ones this week.

 

November is birthday month for us! 

Trevor's is the 21.

HE'S GOING TO BE 30!!! 

WHAT!?!?!?!

And mine is the 30th.

It sure keeps us busy having both our birthdays right around 

Thanksgiving, but its fun!
Lots of family time! 

Piper had the stomach flu last week, but she is doing lots better.

It made for a few sleepless nights though. 

Between daylight savings, the election, and Piper getting sick,

it was a LONG week, that's for sure! 

But we survived!

halloween 2016

Aren't we just the cutest?!?! Hahaha

I just love that there's a picture of the 4 of us. 

We got a tripod a few weeks ago and finally pulled it out.

I can't believe that Hayley is looking at the camera!!!!

Its not the best angle or photo, but I'm calling this a BIG WIN!

And this is just proof of how hard it was to get pictures of our 

little Hayley-Anna monster!

 

But she's so sweet! 

I wish she would've left her little bow/headband on.

but that's OK! 

She's such a cutie and I just LOVE her so much sometimes!

And there's my sweet Elsa!

We borrowed the wig from a friend, threw on some blue eyeshadow,

a little pink lips, and some extra glitter for fun.

She LOVED it!

I was a kitty and Trevor was Prince Charming!

We took the girls trick or treating for a bit last night. 

Piper ran off and had a blast. 

Hayley wasn't sure.

We handed her a pumpkin bucket, and she wasn't even a little interested. 

But, after we went to the first house and someone put a piece of candy in it,

she wouldn't let go of that bucket for even a second! haha
