our weekend fun!

We had a super fun weekend full of cookies, messy babes and a nice date.

We went and saw Abby's play on Friday and really enjoyed it!

We had an awesome babysitter who made cookies AND cleaned my kitchen.

Aren't we so lucky?

On Sunday, we enjoyed celebrating our sweet nephew, Christian's first birthday.

It has been so fun to watch him grow and learn!

We love having little nieces and nephews!

Also on Sunday, one of my best friends, Kathryn, and her husband welcomed their new baby girl into the world!

It was quite the surprise because she was a few weeks early.

But she is a beautiful baby girl and I am thrilled for them!

Visiting them in the hospital made me miss those first few quite days as a little family of three.

 

conference weekend

 We had a fantastic conference weekend! 

We had fun spending time together and with family listening to the prophets.

 

 On Saturday we stayed home and enjoyed the words shared while doing some pretty serious cleaning.

(We showed our apartment to some potential renters that night)

After conference, I was lucky enough to go to a bridal shower for 

my sweet soon-to-be sister Steinia.

It was great to see family and have a night out without the babe.

Piper stayed home with a little cold.

 

On Sunday, we headed up to Salt Lake and spent the day with our family up there.

 

While we were there, the power went out! 

We were lucky that Trevor has good speakers on his phone, because we were still able to listen.

 

 Piper was such a good little girl during our busy weekend!

She really is the kindest little thing and we are so grateful to have her in our lives.

I have always loved the chunky babes

but my back (and Trevor's) is super grateful for our little 13 pound beauty!

But, I will find those little fat rolls!

Park City Weekend

 We just got back from a weekend at the condo with Jake and Emily and their sweet boys.

We had a blast! 

Sadly, I forgot the camera.

(Actually, i thought I had. We found it in the car last night when we were bringing everything back in the house. Bummer.)

So, I only ended up with a few phone photos.

We had Lizzy, Spencer, Carly, and her boyfriend Spencer up for the Super Bowl.

So much fun! We loved being able to spend so much time with everyone!

Weekend Plans

Hope everyone has exciting weekend plans!

I'll be working late tonight and most of the afternoon tomorrow at Color Me Mine!

Its a party!

Then we have a little early spring BBQ planned for Saturday evening with some buddies!

Other than that, I know that I will be spending my time trying to do some serious amounts of reading and day dreaming about this little guy:

Isn't he the cutest! We found him back in December and were SOOO close to buying him.

Seriously.

But then we remembered that we are never home and aren't technically supposed to have pets.

We decided that he should probably be in a better home

with humans that are home more than the hours that they are sleeping and eating.

But I can still daydream what life would be like if he was in my life, right?

(I may or may not be dying for a puppy these days...)

Hope you all have a great weekend! We have a busy one ahead of us. I have a long night shift at Color Me Mine tonight, which will be really fun and Trevor and I both have gigs tomorrow night for a few hours!

white christmas weekend

We got our very first Netflix movie in the mail Saturday.
It was White Christmas.
Trevor hadn't seen it!
Its one of my favorites :)
We watched it while I made some chocolate cupcakes
and we continued watching while we ate WAY too many chocolate cupcakes.
It was a fun weekend.
We got to spend some time with family, friends, and lots with each other!

Can't wait for finals week to be over :)
Then there will be all kinds of fun!!!
