Halloween 2017

We had such a fun Halloween this year!
I don't have much to write, so I'll just let the pictures do the talking!

I laugh every time I see this picture of Hayley!
Its TOO funny!

Piper is so pretty!

The day their kitty stuff came in the mail, they didn't stop crawling
around the house for hours.
And drinking out of bowls.
And meowing - constantly.
It was fun!

We hope you all had a fun Halloween!!!

halloween 2016

Aren't we just the cutest?!?! Hahaha
I just love that there's a picture of the 4 of us.
We got a tripod a few weeks ago and finally pulled it out.
I can't believe that Hayley is looking at the camera!!!!
Its not the best angle or photo, but I'm calling this a BIG WIN!

And this is just proof of how hard it was to get pictures of our
little Hayley-Anna monster!

But she's so sweet!
I wish she would've left her little bow/headband on.
but that's OK!
She's such a cutie and I just LOVE her so much sometimes!

And there's my sweet Elsa!
We borrowed the wig from a friend, threw on some blue eyeshadow,
a little pink lips, and some extra glitter for fun.
She LOVED it!

Just a few selfies too!
I was a kitty and Trevor was Prince Charming!

We took the girls trick or treating for a bit last night.
Piper ran off and had a blast.
Hayley wasn't sure.
We handed her a pumpkin bucket, and she wasn't even a little interested.
But, after we went to the first house and someone put a piece of candy in it,
she wouldn't let go of that bucket for even a second! haha

We had such a fun Halloween and hope you all did too!

october crafts

Today we made some Halloween masks.
I found them here
They had lots of options, but my computer died after I printed the first page.
We colored them, cut them out, and stapled some elastic around.
Easy and fun!

We also made jack-o-lanterns using an apple as a stamp.
This was REALLY fun for both of us.
But a bit messy.

How cute are Piper's faces she painted on!
I love them!!!

And we made mummy lanterns.

Just masking tape and then we hot glued some googly eyes.
Pop in a candle and DONE.

We've been having fun with these little crafts.
We have a few more fun ones coming up over the next week-ish before Halloween.

pumpkin patch

Piper and Hayley and I met up with Kathryn and her girls for a little
play at the pumpkin patch.
We had a blast!
We are going to try and go again next week and hopefully stay a bit longer.

Hayley LOVED the freedom.
She walked everywhere.
The ground was a bit lumpy, so she face planted a few times.
And lost a shoe (pic above) but we found it after. haha

Piper was too busy for photos.
And she didn't want to sit on the "pokey stuff".

I sure love these little girls!
Its so fun to get out and do things with them sometimes.
Our schedule is a bit all over the place sometimes with my
lessons, and preschool and stuff.
But when we can, we love to play!

happy halloween!

From our house, to yours!

Not my favorite holiday, but we're making the best of it!
Piper is the cutest princess ever and Trevor is one handsome prince Charming!
Got the idea for him to be Napoleon Bonaparte after we bought his costume.
Bummer. Wish we'd thought of that sooner. Would've made something fun with his arm.

Update on his arm... it is still really painful for him all the time.
Really painful.
We went back to his orthopedic surgeon this week.
He got a steroid shot and will continue with a week or 2 of physical therapy.
If there continues to be no improvement, we are going to go ahead with surgery.
We just want to get something worked out before the end of the year since we hit our
insurance deductible with the baby and all that.
And, you know... we are getting really tired of him being out of commission.
I've basically let everything fall away except keeping people alive and fed.
It is just too much for one person to handle alone...
Poor guy can barely even hold his new baby. :(
Any extra prayers our way would be super nice.
We could use all the help we can get!
Seriously.
Come do some dishes.
Or vacuum.
I will not turn you away. haha!

Really though, things are fine!
The girls are great, even when things are hard.
Having 2 kids is lots harder than I anticipated and I'm pretty exhausted.
But we are doing great!

And... I went off there for a bit. Sorry.

Happy, happy Halloween!
Have fun playing!
We will be busy tomorrow afternoon and then going on a little
trick-or-treating
then hopefully early bedtimes for all of us!

a little more halloween

Seriously though. Wasn't she the cutest little kitty cat?
She LOVED it!

We had a really fun Halloween weekend.
We got to see some family, go to a little party,
and take Piper trick-or-treating for the first time.
She caught on fast! :)

Trevor and I aren't super into Halloween, but its WAY more fun once
kids are around.
I took Piper, in her costume, on a few errands.
She was loving all of the attention.
But she kept telling people she was dressed as a "dinosaur" or a "lion".
Pretty much any animal except a cat.
She's a silly one.

We had a blast this weekend and are now getting ready for all the fun holidays ahead!
In other news, we got a new car.
Well, new to us.
As you know, Trevor's little car has been giving us a ton of trouble
and we are finally DONE with it.
Its a nice little black civic and we are really happy about it.

And, that's it!
Just heading into another busy week of violin lessons and play dates.
And trying to stay warm. Its getting cold around these parts.

halloween

We aren't super into halloween around these parts, but we do enjoy carving pumpkins!
This year, Piper got in on the action and seemed to really enjoy it.
She had a disgusted look on her face most of the time, but she kept sticking her hand back in.
We cleaned out that pumpkin and carved in a happy face.
Piper's face was priceless when we put a candle inside!
Wish I had caught that on camera.
Oh well!

Piper was a flower for Halloween!
I think she looked pretty cute.
Trevor kept saying that she looked like a little oompa-loompa.

Even though she basically refused to look at the camera all night, I think we still ended up with a few
cute pictures!

Thank goodness I found my camera cord!

Hope everyone else had a fun Halloween!
