Pumpkin Land

Piper's preschool went on a fun field trip to Pumpkinland
this week.
Hayley and I joined in on all the fun!

Here's a bunch of pictures of Piper sticking her head through things :)

I just think she's so pretty!

We had lots of fun!
And I was able to fit 3 carseats in my car.
It was tight, but we had a blast!

Hooray for fall!

And hooray for a baby starting to take more than 20 minute naps!
She's been asleep for almost 2 hours! WAHOO!

Fun things over the last few days!

Guys, we had one of the greatest weeks!
And it all finished off with an extra ticket to the BYU game Saturday,
with EVERYONE.
(Picture above)

We walked puppies with Madeleine.

Went to the Doctor Office.
(Ear Infection. Her first. It was an awfully long week with a grouch at home.)

Pulling her bike around.
Never rides it.
Just pulls.

Tracing herself with chalk.

Jumping on Grandma Linda's trampoline.

Riding a giant horse.
She hated it once we put her up there.
But has talked about it ever since.
ha ha ha

Sleeping Beauty.

The Corn Maze at cornbelly's.
Such madness.
We almost lost Piper about 2934023 times.
I don't recommend taking "runners" to corn mazes.
We were both really tired after this.

Loved seeing her sitting on this haystack.
So cute!

Like I said, Piper had her first ear infection.
We are still working on getting her feeling better.
So she's been moodier than ever.
And even more bossy.
We did some fun things, but this week was a rough one.
I took the week off lessons because of Fall Break,
and it ended up being great timing to be stuck home with a sick kid.

Busy, busy week.

The week ahead will be full of:
violin lessons
planning primary programs
nice fall walks up rock canyon
finishing up Halloween Costumes
and probably some relaxing movies.
And hopefully some fun playdates with friends.
and some major school work for me and Trevor.

That's about it for us!
Hope everyone else is having fun too!

Sunday Fun-day

This Sunday, we decided to take a drive to see more of the pretty leaves.
To be honest, we have the prettiest fall view living right up by the canyon,
but we loved being up the canyon.

So, naturally, we pulled Piper out of the car for some photos.
She wasn't too happy about it.
In her defense, it was pretty chilly and windy.
But she's still pretty cute!

And the drive home:

This is really the greatest time of year.
I'm not usually too thrilled about Fall because it means that the snow is coming,
but this year I've been kinda enjoying it.

We are looking forward to a quiet week at home.
Its fall break for the kids around here, so I'm taking my own fall break.
Piper and I have some fun plans with some friends, some nice fall walks,
and probably snuggling up for some movies.

In other news, I have a new church calling.
And its awesome!
Its singing time for primary and nursery.
Sunday was my first time, and I absolutely loved it.

We are looking forward to a fun week,
that hopefully isn't as crazy busy.
Hope everyone else is having a great October so far!

provo = our town

We love our little spot on the hill in Provo.
Its just gorgeous up here this time of year.
Piper and I have been taking a bunch of glorious walks through our neighborhood.

I'm more of a summer girl, but for some reason, I've started to really enjoy
when the weather finally starts to cool off.
Its been magical this year.
Piper keeps asking when the snow is coming.
Its pretty cute!

Fall schedule

This week marks the start of school.
And the start of my Fall violin teaching schedule.
While we are adjusting to afternoon lessons instead of morning ones (Hooray!)
I thought I'd just post on here that I have some extra slots open for students.
I teach all ages. In fact, most of my students are adults.
My schedule is fairly flexible and we always have a great time while learning how to
play the violin.
I teach classical, mostly Sizuki method, but I also love fiddling
and most of my students love the variety of music.

Let me know if you are interested in more information.

I promise you want to come hang out with us:

Hope everyone is having a happy Monday!
XOXO

14 months

Little blue eyes is 14 months today!
Can't believe it!

I've been thinking a lot about the last year of my life with Piper.
It has definitely been harder than I expected, but I've loved it!
Especially the last few months.
It is so fun to have a walking, talking, playing little person around the house!
She is wild sometimes, and church is the worst (why do they all save their worst behavior for church? haha)
but she is the greatest little girl ever!
I love all the words she can say now. The list is growing everyday!

Love this little girl!

I have a few other posts coming up during the next week.
Get excited!

some pictures

So, just kidding about the whole bouquet thing. When I got home I took the whole thing apart and put it in a glass cube. That way I could enjoy the flowers a whole lot longer :)

BUT! If you need flowers for any sort of occasion, I'd love to help you out! Send me an email for more info!

Here are some pictures of recent events that I thought I might as well post. I'm trying to make it seem like I'm actually an interesting person :) heheh

This is just Trevor visiting me at work.

One PRETTY day in Utah. I love it when it looks like the clouds are hugging
the mountains.
I'm also developing a strong love for the color yellow.

Remember that 20 page 1st draft I had to write for my capstone.
This was the night before it was due around 12:00 am.
Please note the "double gulp" on the table.
That's the only way I got through.
Needless to say, my teacher has since changed my topic on me again.
Gotta love college.
I guess.

Well, I still have to post pictures of some recent scarf adventures, but they will come later!

Tomorrow, I'm getting together with my old roommies (a.k.a. good girl friends) to make some fun paper Christmas ornaments/decorations! Soooo excited! Pictures and directions to follow so you can make some too!

Boutineers

Here are the boutineers I made in class this week! I really enjoyed making these! :)

Yesterday was the most perfect day. It was beautiful outside. I don't think that I've ever enjoyed a walk home more in my entire life. I love FALL! Mainly I like boots, but I do love the weather.

Soooo excited for Park City tomorrow night! Its going to be soo nice to leave for a few days :)

Also! If anyone wants to help me write a paper for my senior capstone class, let me know! haha I don't know how I'm going to pull that one off! But if you are willing to read or edit, let me know and I'll totally take you up on it!
